Mr. Patrick aka Sgt. Push Up started this campaign once he found out that 13 million children go to bed every night without a meal and over 3,000 children attempt suicide daily because of bullying. HeI wanted to do something to make a difference in the country even though I've served my country in Iraq. He chose to continue to serve our children.
He decided to do one million push ups to bring awareness to hunger, bullying and disease with his comic book/workbook called "Sgt. Pushup talks to the kids about germs". Through his campaign he was able to sponsor $330,000 meals.
